Steph wants to show Sinead's 'gritty' side

Stephanie has admitted that she would quite like for her Hollyoaks character Sinead to go back to her old ways with some storylines to show Sinead's rebellious and troublesome side again. Stephanie told the Press Association:

"I'd like to see things get a bit more gritty for Sinead, maybe see her get in a bit more trouble than she is usually in..."

2011 was an eventful year for Sinead when she ran off with boyfriend Bart McQueen, but since the various love problems with Bart and Gaz it seems like it's only been the force of the feisty teenager's tongue that we've seen. Bring back the drama!

"She's a bit goody two shoes now. I want her to get back to being chavvy and Scouse again and get really naughty".

Perhaps with the end of exam season nearing an end at the Hollyoaks college, and Bart's involvement with Joel's drug dealing, it will only be a matter of time before we see some proper trouble for Sinead.

Soap Awards 2012

The British Soap Awards 2012 took place on Saturday night (and I can't quite believe that it has been a year since I lasted posted about it!)
The awards were filmed in London and will be aired on ITV on Wednesday 3rd. Thank you to everyone who voted for the deserved Hollyoaks nominees.
Once again Stephanie stepped out looking gorgeous and sophisticated in a floor length black Pia Michi dress. You may remember it's not the first time Stephanie has worn Pia Michi - at the Wizard of Oz opening night Stephanie was the vision of glamour in another floor length dress that was white with skull embellishment. I'm sure that is one of her most memorable looks!

Stephanie at Switch On 2012

It has been confirmed that Stephanie will be appearing alongside co-star Kieron Richardson to complete a line up of exciting entertainment at the Skegness Illuminations on Saturday 4th August.
The organisational team has noted a vast improvement in the events this year: there will be dance workshops, dancers, local singers, and the evening will culminate in a parade and firework display.

The Skegness Illuminations are free for the public to enjoy so if you are located near by, it sounds like it's an event to put on your own calender!

Naked Truth's for 'Gok's Teens'

Last year the King of positive thinking Gok Wan ran a series helping out teenagers with their metaphorical 'growing pains'. He got in the help of celebrities to offer some pointers, so here is Stephanie in two clips, offering some advice for teenagers, reminding us to be happy with our body image and accepting of our true selves. Triple win for Hollyoaks at AAS Awards!

The winners of All About Soap Awards 2012 were announced yesterday, with Hollyoaks winning big with THREE awards out of eight categories!

Best Actor went to the legendary Emmett Scanlan who plays Brendan Brady.
The climax of the serial killer storyline at Halloween wiped the floor and won the Best Episode category. The villain at the heart of it, Silas Blissett came first in the Best Villain category, proving just how thrilling and engaging that storyline was.

Thank you to all who voted for Hollyoaks and continue to do so across all the other soap awards. The soap certainly has some committed fans!
