OK! is one of the UK's top selling weekly magazines and in this weeks Royal wedding special part two is a double page spread on Stephanie's 18th party which took place earlier this year in Blue Bar along the Albert Dock in Liverpool. Stephanie threw a marvellous party with family and friends and the guests were treated to top entertainment and even Stephanie took to the microphone, entertaining and impressing everyone with a short version of Let's Get Loud and an exclusive track she wrote herself. Stephanie may be in Hollyoaks for a while yet but is still following her passion and dream to make music so watch this space!
If you want to purchase OK! magazine the edition number is 776 and dated May 17th.
As with earlier magazine articles, I've scanned in the feature so you don't have to miss out! (Please excuse the quality). Simply click on the small versions and another window will open with the image full size.
If you can't read the text on the scans, here's the text from the article:
Life is a cabaret for relative Hollyoaks newbie Stephanie Davis - or it was when she celebrated her 18th birthday! Hitting Liverpool's Albert Dock with the show's crew, the smiling starlet - who plays mischievous teen Sinead O'Connor - had gone all out to make it a night to remember. 'It was brilliant but it was hectic', she told OK!. I spent all day getting ready, as you have to do, and I was really nervous but it was worth it'.
Letting them know what kind of evening they were in for, when guests arrived at Blue Bar they were greeted by Pecs In Kecks - strapping men with no tops on brandishing vodka cocktails!
More entertainment was to follow, with stilt-walkers, feather-dancing grils, belly dancers and even a magician. Not to be outdone, Liverpool born Stephanie - who was a Dorothy hopeful in the BBC talent show Over The Rainbow - took to the microphone, wowing her friends with a rendition of Run For Your Money (? ed. not sure if this is actually the title), which she wrote, and Let's Get Loud, the Jennifer Lopez number she sang on the show.
A hard act to follow, but the risque burlesque dancers topped off the evenings brilliant cabaret. 'They were brilliant, but I wasn't expecting all of them to get their kit off!' Stephanie laughed. 'I got so many flowers, my place is like a florist!' Vicky Atkin got me a Stephanie Davis Essential Hangover Kit filled with Red Bull, sweets, paracetamol and a pizza voucher. I admit it was put to good use the morning after!'
